Gossett Concrete Pipe Company was founded in 1944 by Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Gossett, Sr. and has remained a family owned and operated business for 70 years. Over that time period, three generations of Gossett's have grown GCPC into one of the largest Concrete Pipe and Box Culvert producers in the Carolina's. Currently, A.C. "Bo" Gossett, III serves as President of Gossett Concrete Pipe and is a third generation owner.
Gossett Concrete Pipe has seen the Concrete Pipe industry change and evolve over it's many years in business. In the beginning, GCPC produced hand casted Concrete Pipe and sold it to county governments for maintenance of roads, driveways, and drainage systems. In 1992, Gossett took a major step forward and decided to upgrade it's operation with the addition of a fully automated pipe machine, and began producing 8 foot joints for the first time in it's history. The addition of the new system opened the door for major highway and commercial projects. Since then, Gossett has played a major role in the growth and development of the Upstate of South Carolina by supplying quality products for a sustainable infrastructure. In 2007, GCPC took another big step forward with the addition of a brand new state of the art facility and installed a second automated pipe machine. By adding a second plant, GCPC is able to run as efficient as ever, and it also laid the groundwork for yet another expansion. In 2011, Gossett Pipe opened up a dry cast facility and expanded it's product line to allow for production of Rubber Gasket Precast Box Culverts and large diameter pipe. As GCPC celebrates it's 70th year in business, we remain focused on the future, and are constantly exploring new ways to improve and service our customers needs and expectations. It is this commitment, that will keep Gossett Concrete Pipe strong for many years to come.
